Watercolour Pet Portrait

Important information below, please read everything carefully before placing your order! <3

• Stylised watercolour pet portrait - this is NOT a realistic drawing of your pet!

• Painted using watercolour and coloured pencil on hard pressed watercolour paper.

• Available in either A6 (104×148mm) or A5 (248×210mm).

• Two pets are not available as an option for the A6 size.

How to order

• Select the size and quantity of pets you’d like, add to your cart and purchase as normal to secure your slot.

• Email me photos of your pet to ruthhammondillustration@gmail.com

• In your email, please also mention any important details, like marking details or if your pet is missing a limb or tail.

• Once I’ve received all the details, I’ll get to work on your portrait.

What happens next?

• I will send you a black and white line sketch of your pet - this is to make sure that I haven’t missed any crucial details.

• Once the sketch is approved, I’ll paint your portrait and will send another photo when it’s finished.

• If, at this stage, you’ve realised that certain details are wrong - major details that should have been picked up in the first stage, like the pet is missing a tail or limb - you will be required to pay the full amount again for me to redo it.

• If you only have a few changes to do with the colour or markings, then I offer 3 free changes at this stage. If you require more, then there will be an additional charge of £5 per change. If the portrait reaches a stage where I cannot do anything more to it, then I will simply ship it as it is.

• Once it has been approved, I will ship it out!

• Please note that because the portrait is an original painting, I cannot offer a refund on your order once it has been finished. A partial refund may be available if I have started it but not finished.

Processing times

• The current processing time is 2-3 weeks + shipping time

• If you require it sooner then I offer a rush service for an additional £10-20 - please email me (ruthhammondillustration@gmail.com) if this is the case for you.

Packaging & shipping

• Shipping cost is calculated at the checkout. Each portrait is shipped tracked for both UK and international orders.

• Each portrait is wrapped safely in tissue paper with mountboard and a cellophane sleeve. Each one is shipped flat inside a sturdy cardboard box.

• If you have ordered other items with your portrait and you would like them sent before your portrait is finished, then please let me know either at the checkout or by email (ruthhammondillustration@gmail.com) and I will sort something out for you. :)

Please note that all portraits are for personal use only. If you want to use it/them commercially, then please let me know ahead of your order so that we can discuss a licensing fee.
